Rear sets wanted- early 3c

I know where there is a set of factory plates for an SF ...... but I suspect they are not the same.

... SF sets won't fit a 3C. Frame triangle is different.

I wonder if the massive trouble I had fitting rear sets to my 3c was using 750 mounting plates, the external size fitted the triangle but the boss where the footpeg should have mounted had the holes so out of square that the pegs were so bound up the gear link wouldn't turn. It took a huge amount of grinding to get it working. I was really surprised I got them to work in the end. The mounting plates I got from a really well-known parts seller and a fantastic bloke were incredibly wrong. Bloody expensive as well.

There's no way the 750 plates would fit the triple Vince, totally different shape. I'd say the after market plates were just that, after market. Doesn't matter who supplied the parts.
