Hello my name is brown, and I'm a newbie to the site.  (announce)  (hello) :D  I was looking around the site, for the newbie section, but Carn't  find it, so put it here..I'm down south/west of England UK. I was looking on eBay for used Suzuki gt switches gear,( for parts) and came across, a laverda gt750 left switch,  :D  the same as the gt550, and i restore gt switches.

So....  I offer my services on restoring your  switches... If you have a switch ( or set) in need of restoring, then please pm me with what you need doing.. If the switch is not a Suzuki switch, ( laverda switch) then let me know what you have on your bike, and as long as it's still working, and all there, ( i only have Suzuki parts at the mo) then I can restore it, in satin/glass black, or polish, and repaint the lettering to finish.. In orange / white/light green/dark green/ baby blue/or just leave plain, with no colour. :D

(complete switches please, as if parts missing, there will be an extra charge, and for any repairs)

the sleeving, will be replaced  (were needed) the bodies are stripped back,

bodies, glass bead blasted, primed, then satin black/or now.. Gloss black to finish off.

the letters are painted  back on,  in  ORANGE!

re-greased and all internals are put back together,

I lightly greased, to protect them, until fitted on your bike, (bodies will dull down over time, and leave you a Matt finish) tested and returned 1st class signed for deliverd by 1pm! (In the uk) A lot of work, and time  goes into the restoration of these switch/es, and it would be a shame to loose  them, or get lost or damaged,  in the post on there return, back to you, so this is the postage return service I use, that works best for me & you!

The postage is to send, them back to you recorded delivery, and insurance, signed for. (as postage has gone up, this price in for the UK)

Sounds like a worthwhile service to me.
Do you supply the plastic knobs separately?
I have a few missing form a couple of sets I have.
 
The indicator knob is discontinued by Suzuki ,Davo kindly sent me one from Oz, as Crooks don t have them anymore.does your contact have them still?
 
no the indicator plastic knob l/h side,it screws onto the sliding switch indicator plate.

- it is worth changing "1st class signed for delivered by 1pm" in your listing to "Special Delivery Next Day by 1pm"

- the service you describe is clearly Special Delivery (with ?500 max compensation available) rather than 1st Class (with ?20 max compensation available, ie. not enough to cover the value of the switch) so it is worth flaunting it!

They look good by the way  :)

That's the service I use, as I know it's going to get there, and if not then, they can pay me, and I  will send another set out ... But had no problems yet!! and if they mess up with the delivery, ( late delivery ) then I get a full refund, on the postage. I did once, but it still got there in one piece but a bit later 2pm..

All I need now is some switches to refurbish.. Any one?  :D  (Lavflag)

I have a set in need of refurbishment: How much to post out to Australia? Your First Class stamp won't reach this far...

I'll charge you.. ?12.00 ( that's English pounds) any more than that, I will make up the difference .A 1st class stamp, these day's will get a letter, round the block. Thanks b.

Hi, Yes can do those.. Refurbished and with white lettering. You can have the body's in satin black. And new sleeving if needed? They will be stripped down, and cleaned out, repainted body's, and put back together, tested and retuned..  ?125. Delivered back to you, ( included p&p ) as long as you are  in the UK.. Thanks switch guy.. :D
