This weeks joke

Perry, once you've got it nutted out, please send Scott Morrison an email explaining things to him.
Note: Please use concise and easy to understand terms. Anything too complex and you'll get this look.

Well Chris after extensive research I now am fully briefed on who Mr Morrison is and familiar with his covid response and agree with you that he seems to have left himself somewhat open to criticism.

As a byproduct of this research I also discovered that a lady called Rebel has lost a lot of weight and that if you happened to be in the Toongabbie Woolworths last Wednesday you should get a test ASAP.

Police are looking for a thief who steals T-shirts in order of size-apparently he`s still at large.

Walking down the road the other day when this bloke starts throwing words beginning with "Th" at me....I managed to avoid This and They, but I never saw That coming...

Got a fear of Horse Chesnut trees?...Then conker it...

Old one.

Coppers pull over speeding motorist. " Sorry officer I was desperately looking for a shithouse ".
" Well you've found one ,now what's your name ? "

I must be getting old - i simply don't get this one. o_O
It may be you're too young. The shithouse the motorist was looking for is a public toilet. The term shithouse is also used as an alternative to dickhead or wanker etc.

There, if the joke was struggling before I think that's killed it stone dead. Will try
harder.

Ah, lost in translation - shithouse in Oz is also a dunny (toilet) but its other meaning is 'awful', 'unpleasant' or 'of poor quality' - 'I'm feeling shithouse', 'that's a shithouse SFC'. A dickhead or wanker is more like a 'shithead'.

Shithouse in English can mean : somewhere to shit ( outbuilding), an unpleasant person ( a right shithouse..) or can also mean someone ( male ) who is exceptionally heavily built ( like a brick shithouse) or any house built by Bovis, Wimpy or Persimmon.
Yep, all relevant and used in Oz. Just not the 'wanker', 'idiot' version - which is why i didn't get the joke.

Here it can also be a technical term - or judgement.

Me - Chief scrutineer - looking at a sidecar outfit "That's a bit shithouse"
Owner/builder "Well, yeah, you reckon ?"
Me "I'm not passing that"
Then it becomes a shitfight..

Especially if the guy is a shithead
At that point I walk away telling him his meeting is over and I couldn't give a shit.
And add that if he wants to take it further, neither the rider's rep or the MNZ Steward will give a shit either....

And if he wants to appeal the matter he'd better get his shit together because he's gonna have his shitty arse handed to him on a plate otherwise.

Sometimes that job was really satisfying. Relieved any emotional constipation.
