Paoli (square) fuel taps
« on: November 03, 2019, 05:32 »
Am in the market for a set/pair of Paoli fuel taps (square type) for a '78 triple: roll up, roll up..
Does LJ still make replicas?

Orlandis.
Paoli made the later type.
As far as I know Shaun still supplies the Orlandi type.
Why not ask him directly?

Orlandi became Paioli at some point, 1974ish I would guess, but maybe later, never researched it. Same product , only new name.

Be aware that the tube you slide your petrol pipe over is a smaller diameter on "some" replica taps, leading to difficult sealing.

All in one unit with a longer filter/reserve than standard,.Italian made, .Some other taps have no ethanol resistant o ring,.Sold many for two years now.Never had an issue with fuel tube.

Very nice! I know where to ask if I don't have enough in the spares box for two bikes.
What ... leave it standard??!!

Nice to see some nice clean ones there LJ.   A fuel tap without a filter sleeve, plus tank sealant flakes do not a good reserve runner make...  ;D
