So if its green and shows up as a Jota then it's a good price. my 3ce is engine number 28** registered in late 75

It was a very late 3C.  ,I went up with Alan but lots of bidders in house and online,
Good in the fact it"s showing Laverda prices are good for 3Cs,some parts /service history mainly at Motodd, some parts receipts at Slaters (but no rebuild methinks) and Muira at 6.2K plus 12% commission and 20% VAT ends up as an expensive purchase.
However if you want a 3C which seemed fairly complete except panels (had a very early unlabelled electronic iginition on it)untouched for 12 years it will be good restoration to keep.,Chrome all rusted but stainless exhaust system all good and frame in vgc.Seat pan original under the recovering.

I seem to remember wire wheels being mentioned as optional in France when the 3CL came out in 76.

With drum rear?
Would require a frame change.

I would think toque arm mount to stop the drum brake spinning with the wheel and the rear brake pedal. The right side rear drum brake pedal needed a very long cable that went around the wheel front and connected to the brake on the left side. It was an odd bit of engineering to get it to comply with the new regs for the left gear change.

And the mounting point for the end of the brake cable that was on the frame. (left side in countries unaffected by the left foot change hysteria).
In fact I recall the mounting point was on both sides to allow for this option.

Of course. When written optional, you need to interpret, getting rid of old stock.
