UK licencing shows it as a green coloured Lavereda  (that's the spelling),  first registered 1st April 1977.

No annual MOT inspection,  so no guarantee of mileage.

You take pot luck with these auctions Triggermann, it doesn't look too bad to me and I'd take a punt on it. The colour was probably originally green, someone has painted the frame silver in a fit of enthusiasm too but it's easily sorted.
I would pay up to £3500 for that bike probably, what do you reckon it's worth?

Difficult for me to give it a fair value.
The pictures are poor, there's at least one side panel missing, it's supposedly had an engine rebuild,  yet it's only showing 20,000 miles,  the DVLA (UK Licencing)  say it's never had an MOT (annual road worthiness test).

Too many variables without seeing it in the flesh.

I'd pay £2,500 maximum,  assuming everything is straight. Then if the engine etc is good youd have a bargain.

Whats a 1977 3C, that's a pretty high engine number for a 3C but about right for a 77 3CL. But its definitely a wire wheel 3C. Pictures are horrible, you would want better pics for sure.

It's probably one that was lying around unsold Vince, everybody wanted cast wheels back then. It would be registered in 1977 but the factory did make another small batch of 3C's too so it could be a very late one.

When you say never had an mot, read that as hasn't had one since computerised records started circa 2006.

I accept that. But the ad says IN STORAGE FOR 5 YEARS. Not 14 years so,  it should show on the MOT search. Too many warning signals for me. A bike you'd really have to see in front of you to get a feel for it's condition.

Classic values seem to be falling
This will probably not meet its reserve
Would be my guess

I would say Ďas isí itís a £2.5-3k gamble. If in the flesh it looks better than the photos maybe £3.5k but still a gamble. Even if it only needs light Ďrestorationí to get it road worthy, itís still not going to be worth a lot more than itís cost you, but who cares if you just want to ride it. And if itís knackered then itís almost definitely going to be worth less after itís rebuilt than it will have cost to rebuild it. But again if you plan to keep it for a few years and get the value back out of the enjoyment of owning and riding it, happy days.
I say this after having had a different 3C offered to me in the last few days, in probably similar condition, and I applied the same logic. The seller is therefore hoping to find someone else who is prepared to take the gamble and pay more than I am. Good luck to all concerned......
An Ďinzaneí number of Zanes (all of which could run)
7 from Breganze (all of which can run)
Several other project bikes
1 x BMW C600 Sport Highline maxi scooter (for comfort and reliability)
1 x Benelli Tre Tornado 900 (cos it should have been the Ďnewí Jota)

With #5039 it looks like a very late 3C, #5037 is showing as a Jota, maybe the buyer knew something we don't, or took a gamble.Lots of potential though.
