Saw this on Headbutbook, we have done this ride a few times lately after it became full bitumen, seem it's attracted some attention.

A couple of things to watch, as you come up towards, the Aviation Park at the back of the Naval Air Station and up towards the Turpentine Rd turn off and up to Sassafras , keep an eye out for 'toll collectors'. In the 80 zone, if you are coming across from the Princes Hwy at Tomerong same situation. By the way, the Naval Aviation Museum at HMAS Albatross is well worth a look.

Just like watching a hideous car crash, Facebook is a competing nightmare to me. I find it hard to say its name. But it seems to have caught on. That route was just bitumened and its now on the bike roads index but is pretty remote, great bike road with stunning scenery. There must have been maybe 6 or so cars about in the 120 odd ks so speeds might have gotten up a bit but that post might be interesting to others who do that ride and not know it's now on the radar literally.
