Possible Essential Reading?
« on: November 03, 2018, 21:08 »
I have never read this magazine ....... although perhaps "read" is the wrong word. Can anyone confirm if there is important knowledge about Laverda's contained within?

Yes Grasshopper, if you delve into it deep enough, you will find what you are looking for.

:o I think I saw her knickers on my grandmothers clothesline when I was a kid.

3M made a fortune out of that magazine.
Subliminal advertising for Post It notes worked a treat.
The initial attraction to motorcycling inflicts people for various reasons and at different stages in their lives. But once someone experiences the elation of riding a motorcycle there’s no denying the nearly spiritual effect it has.

Stupid me thought she’d hurt herself and that they were Bandaids.  Thanks for clearing that up Chris - pretty smart advertising man from 3M.  Smarter than the average bear, well, this one at least.

Speaking of her granny knickers and clotheslines, that reminds me of my mother in law.  Lovely lady.  I’m not saying she’s large, but when she hangs her bra on the line, camels try to make love to it.

With thanks to Les Dawson...

Maybe a report on Laverda's experimentation with the 'Double Knocker' layout?
