How big is a Chott?
« on: October 11, 2018, 16:38 »
I've never sat on one, but I'm 6foot 6inches tall with long legs.

But I fancy a Laverda 250 Chott. Would I fit?

I'm 5'10", fits me perfectly.

Maybe a LH250 will suit you better, much higher seat with long travel suspension.

Thanks for the input.

LH250? I've never seen one for sale. Time to look around.

Or a 600 Atlas? Entirely different beast, but still has off-road aspirations ;)

I used to be 6’6” but gravity and children are wearing me down. Rode on yogi’s atlas, was a good size for me. Jota fits like a glove😜

Well, that’s it then - go and look at the OR600 Atlas for sale in the UK.  Great engine based on the 500 - 8 valve head, single Dellorto DVLA40 carb as used on Alfa’s and other engines, quality suspension and other equipment.  They are a tall ride, as Marty said, and obviously heavier than a Chott and more dual purpose.

Parts through Piet or Wolfgang..

I’m glad I got one, was looking at a MX250 before I got it, suits me better..
