Gert,
Your Sulzbacher triples would also appeal very much to me. I just tried to search for them
here in the forum. Pity that no pictures are available anymore due to the unreliability of
imageshack, photobucket and the like …

Is there any actual link to pictures showing your bikes, in particular the Sulzbachers?

Cheers
Jo

Hi Jo, here are two pix for you! I should update my site and the Sulzbacher site as well ...

Two beauty's Gert ....... perfect balance of form.

Who made the exhaust for the orange bike? Also ..... who makes the fairing? The fairing is a nice balance ...... between a Laverda and a Ducati fairing ...... best of both.

Hi Jim,
the "orange" bike is in fact a red bike - both 1200SC highest Sulzbacher tuning spec. Fairing, downpipes with 45mm diameter and big bore collector are special Sulzbacher parts, silencers on the red bike are standard Laverda, on the white it is a Sulzbacher 3-1 replica exhaust.

Gert.....or anyone else from that part of Europe....i was trying to recall the name of the Laverda shop or nearby town somewhere in Switzerland where i got my 1000 SFC serviced in 1986. All I recall was it was Laverda dealership in a rural area, farming country. They may have sold other brands as well but it was a small shop out in the country.  The owner was a farmer as well I think who drive a Mercedes.  No one spoke english other than the owner. But i recall the shop manager or mechanic who was impressed with the  sound of the SFC which had the factory 3 into 1 pipe and the open bellmouths. He mimiced the sound with a loud roar and smiled. Then pointed to a stock Laverda and made a muted put put sound and shook his head in disgust. They did  a great job tuning the Bike and we continued our tour of Europe.

Hi Gert
Thank you for the information. I see the bike is red now when I use my laptop. It looks orange on my ipad. I have not seen stock exhaust with the ends cut open. Must be quite loud.
Is it possible to purchase the fairing? I like that shape very much.
cheers

Hi Jim, ends cut open??? No - see my pic!
Boba has a mould for the Sulzbacher fairing, but he is not able to work at the moment. I could search my shed also, but shipping to Canada could be a pain ...

More parts arrived yesterday – nearly feels like X-mas in summer:

As I accidentally just have other duties (water damage in my house) I’m yet not sure when I find the time to install the bits though …
