Holes in the floor for chaining bikes down?

that would makes sense in some parts of the world...  :-[

Nice bike! The padding of the seat looks a bit tired - or is it for lowering the seat hight?

Yes, nice bike and al that.  But what are those rectangular holes in your garage floor for?
Those are Y anchors, I installed them while we poured the floor. You thread a chain through the top and then to a suitable area of the bike. Some may say "you're going a bit far aren't you"? Two people I know have had their bikes stolen from their home. Hopefully the anchors will delay them a while if they tried here.

Give me a chance all I've only had it 24 hours. Yes, I know it's not perfect but there are some changes I wish to make:
1. Change the headlamp brackets and fit a proper headlight
2. Indicators??
3. The frame is silver, I will keep it that way. I know what the 76 3 CL colours are but they won't suit the smart silver finish on the frame. Will be considering paintwork.
4. Turn the front mudguard through 180 degrees.

I would like to enjoy riding it a while first and these matters can be looked into in the cold months

The seat is alright, my 5'-10" wouldn't want it any higher

76 3CL 4045 in the original colours as bought September 1976. Note the silver frame.

My thought is it was an Australian market only option.
I haven't seen silver frames in the rest of the world until the 79 Jota with laid down shocks.

It took only a glance at the bike in the showroom for me to think I had to have it. The test ride was the cherry on the top. Made the Z1900 I traded on it feel like a lazy fat pig.

I don't care what color they are, they are all amazing looking bikes, perform way ahead of other bikes of the era, I say just ride the bloody thing and don't worry what anyone else thinks.
