Paid a visit to the Neerim South Hotel yesterday which just happens to have some twisty roads leading to it. A couple of beers and a steak sandwich before heading home on some roads I hadn't tried before. The 25yo map showed some gravel on the Tynong North-Gembrook road but I thought the wheels of time may have caught up with the situation. Only about 5kms of it. The gravel was fine but surprised everything stayed together over the corrugations! Was all fun, probably the last ride for a while with just the t-shirt under the jacket though.

Nice.  My real ale tour has started and finished in my garage so far.  Still, only the beginning of the season.

The owner Brad is into bikes too, riding a speed triple.

Had a couple of pints with Wayne in the Edinburgh Beer Kitchen http://thebeerkitchen.co.uk/beer-kitchen-test-series-innis-gunn/ between bike runs on Friday evening.
Their Test ale was very pleasant but I managed to resist their "Grab a Growler" offer :o.

Wife came to pick me up with some skepticism as the address was listed as a strip club on her phone maps.

Beer Kitchen 'Test Ale' came from one of the stainless tanks on the right.

(bigthumb)  Just about finished the 'Landlords' that I brewed a while back- hops settled down nicely, pity it's nearly gone.  Have an American Amber ale maturing in bottles, still a bit caramelly at the moment, but the St Peter's in the barrel is tasting very promising.  Will be starting an IPA this week. ;D

My name is Reggie, and I may be an alcoholic...

Is this because this is the only drinking hole left in Australia?

An ‘inzane’ number of Zanes (all of which could run)
7 from Breganze (all of which can run)
Several other project bikes
1 x BMW C600 Sport Highline maxi scooter (for comfort and reliability)
1 x Benelli Tre Tornado 900 (cos it should have been the ‘new’ Jota)

Is owning a Laverda necessary for membership? Reggie could've pulled a page from The Book of Ron (Laverda SF) and remained!!!
