Bike of the Month - September 2012
« on: August 31, 2012, 21:11 »
When I think of Moto Martins I generally think of CBXs so I was pleasantly surprised to find a number of frames housing Laverda motors. The French are not only famous for the Eiffel Tower. So which would you like to add to your stable?

Last month was probably the most votes cast in a BOM. Can you top it this month?
Happy voting

Scrumpy

Options 1 and 9 have been grouped together as I have been reliably informed that they are the same bike. So vote for Option 1 rather than split the vote. They can be added together at the end of the month. Likewise 8 and 10 are the same machine.

Option 1 and 9: Silver Streak/Out House

Option 2: Yellow Peril

Option 3:  Pretty in Pink

Option 4: Humbug

Option 5: Red Martin

Option 6: Martin Green

Option 7: House Martin

Option 8 and 10: Full House/Martin No Mates

I like the Pretty in Pink one a lot.  More than the film and the song. ;D

I went for Yellow Peril - great looking bike and I seem to prefer only two cylinders.

Definitely not my preferred colour. All Lavs should be orange  ;)

I like the Red Martin (except for the ugly caliper adapter). Looks very purposeful.....

Cable ties incorporated into the design is a tell tale sign  ;)

Martin Green for me...

I think the pictures don't do it justice...

A good clean up and some finishing stuff. Will make it one hell of a LAVERDA.

There's a lot to like here. I wasn't aware they made frames for twins.

Does anybody know what the stuff in front of the engine on Red Martin is? Looks like some sort of tank, maybe fuel or oil?

Or maybe somewhere to keep the camembert?

Cheers,

bazzee

My vote is "uh, uh, uh, uh..."
Martin Green looks like it would be One HELL of a machine but it also looks a wee bit scruffy. I love the monoshock.  :)
Yellow Peril looks very good indeed.
What the Hell happened to Full House?? Hack saws all over the front. Does the new alternator do it justice?

So I can't decide. Which one to vote for? I am VERY biased to Twins!! BooYah! Best MotorCycle EVER made in the history of The Universe.
So all you 120/180 riders can go condemn each others masculinity all you want and it still doesn't matter one bit.
