Hello, I hope you are well, the truth is that there is a lot of important information in this forum, very good motorcycles .. I would like to have them all but without a doubt I prefer to stay as my beloved Harle who I know will never leave me alone and much less wasted on the street in no time

That second one (b/w) is an excellent shot!! We should have a calendar comprised of classic racing photos from ‘back in the day’...

Three into two, in the first picture, as below.
As explained, back in those days, Laverdas came with a right hand dip lens and that was my solution to dazzling oncoming vehicles, in the UK.
I learned the mirror trick from an old git on a 1200, who kept moving to cut me off from overtaking him at Mallory Park. Unsuccessfully , in the end! I think he lived in the Knockholt area, IIRC.

Ha ha. That was probably our old (git) mate Clem.  ;D

Hamish, not in the case of my 750 SF1, bought new three years earlier, it had a left dip headlight, it would be hard to fathom how Slaters got away with importing non road legal (in UK) bikes for six or seven years with headlights dipping right, so I think a lot of bikes sold new between 1970 and 1976 would have had left dipping headlight glasses. you do imply (only imply or hint of, if you prefer) that all UK Laverdas up till then had right dipping headlights,  which I doubt, happy to be proved wrong though with my SF1 being the exception.
