Brown Moment on Brown Mountain
« on: February 15, 2020, 07:47 »
I have just seen a pic of 2 rocks the size of cars blocking the Snowy Mountains Hwy west of Benboka on Brown Mountain closing the road. That's in the area we are heading to next weekend, close-ish but not directly on the route we are taking. After the fires taking out the earth support and all that rain, there will be more of this happening.

It's a major Hwy so it will get done ASAP. Another site had pics of 2 previous road collapses, seems it happens every couple of years. They looked much harder to fix as in those cases the cliff-side lane was completely gone.

What's the problem, just tuck your elbows in, grip the clipons and aim for the gap. YouŽd get two Moto 3 bikes beside each other through that gap.

No mucking around, roads clear and open. They cracked them like eggs and over the rail.

I did have the handle of Rocky, but that was a long time ago, another story.
I'll answer to both.

I wondered how they moved those rocks so quickly, just saw the video of them being BLOWN UP. Yep, judicial use of explosives.
