Clutch lever / mount for 78 Mirage
« on: May 16, 2018, 21:27 »
Good evening

I'm struggling to find a replacement clutch lever for my 78 Mirage. Mine is very worn at the pivot and causing gear selection issues. I understand it's a Tomaselli item (?).  Slaters don't have one.  Laverda Paradies list it but don't have any stock.  Could I fit a complete Domino item as that may be easier to get ?

Thanks in advance.

I did have one put in a while ago but it wasn't done that well.  I may find someone else to do it.

That Lever assembly may be common to  some Guzzis  in which case you could try Guzzibits if Wolfgang is away. However your gear selection issues may be caused by poor adjustment of the eccentric in the gear selector mechanism.

Clutchless changes. No selection problems.

Thanks all.  Wolfgang has responded and I've ordered a lever assembly.

Thanks Normski, yes, I'm adjusting the eccentric.  And sorting the rearset linkage issues I have which aren't helping.

And replacing the warped front discs.  And getting it going after 3 years of it stood idle etc etc  :)
