Formula 500 wanted
« on: April 16, 2018, 08:44 »
A mate in NZ is after a Formula 500. Needs to be a genuine one.
If anyone out there has one for sale or knows where there is one, please PM me details and I'll pass 'em on.
Thanks in advance :)

I don't like the look of the repair to the chassis on the 600TT shown in close up very near to the rear master cylinder, part oversleeve, pin holed welding and all of the rest ground off, looks like bad stick weld, but could be mig, I dread to think what that did to what must clearly be high quality/high carbon steel tubing.

He's sold an RC30 and an RC45 so that's where the money is coming from. If you do the IOM with the XR69, you'll meet the new owners of the Hondas working out of the Classic Suzuki pit....Small world.

I can imagine. Bit like that in person too. If I wasn't cuttently waiting for a triple bypass, I'd have the RC30 engine here to rebuild. At least I've missed that, LOL.
