Chris is accurate

Why thank you kind sir. ;)
The initial attraction to motorcycling inflicts people for various reasons and at different stages in their lives. But once someone experiences the elation of riding a motorcycle theres no denying the nearly spiritual effect it has.

190 psi = 13:1 comp: sure youre not running a diesel motor there Vince  :D

That's only true for isothermal compression.

In reality, the compression more adiabatic than isothermal. That means the gas gets hotter as it compresses, which raises its pressure beyond what you'd expect from the simple volumetric calculation.

My Jota is about the same, around 180 - 190 psi. It has HC pistons, so I'm guessing Vince's engine does too.

I just started the bike, choke off in 10 seconds after a start, let it warm up for 3 or 4 minutes and gave it a rev to 4k a few times, bearly any smoke. You could see a tiny bit. Waited 5 minutes with the taps off and did another start, even less smoke.I was wondering as on the weekend ride at a constant throttle has zero smoke and closing it and opening it activates the accelerator pumps and maybe with the needle and seat not so good on No2 maybe that was it. But it was extreme crazy amounts of smoke,????????????? none of it makes any sense.

You are still fixing the fence on Saturday, though...

Its had an oil change since the smoky ride, back to mineral from synthetic but as usual, I doubt this had an effect. Yes, Yogi fence is still on, seen the weather. Heat wave this weekend at Bretts, 38c on Saturday and 40c on Sunday.
As I said bring a hat, I will have an esky.

My advice is if vince has a esky then bring some beer and ice to put in the esky, no one wants to drink gaorade whilst fixing a fence

Hey Vince, my side fence could do with a bit of work too. When are you in Tassie next? I reckon you could carry a compressor and nail gun on that luggage rack of yours. I can provide the esky  :D
