Marzocchi AG-Strada
« on: January 22, 2018, 12:35 »
I fancy the good old Marzocchi AG Strada dampers I have on my 3C 1000. One is however leaking. Anyone know where to by, possible the last existing overhaul kit for these old-timers?
Much appreciated.

Hi to all of you Guys.
Thanks to Laverdalothar and SimonR501 for your advices. Unfortunately the links didn't directly leed to a source for the parts. However DucattiPaddy kindly gave me a link to Tecnomotors in Italy. Ugo Zanardini proved very helpfull, he had the pats and he shipped nearly before recieving payment. Highly recommended. The Schocks overhauled by Grand do look fantastic. Would have been my second choice.

You are a Master Grant, that looks sweet.
But, that picture just leaves me scratching my head, as to why the factory insisted on leaving those butt ugly forward footrest bosses on the Jota frames.  (puke)

There's probably more truth in that than you think.

The same frames were used on 3CLs and all 1200s: not sure if they were made onsite or elsewhere but I expect Luigi simply reached over, grabbed a frame and thought " Today I thinka I maka da Jota"...

Frames were made by the same company that made the Ducati bevel frames, Verlicchi AFAIK. I can not find the link to the webpage that showed that information, but I once had it.

I recently bought three Marzocchi Strada AG overhaul kits from suspensionzana in Italy. Prices were OK and delivery reasonably prompt.
